what is tacommu?
“Tacommu” is a combination of two words: “tabunka” and “communications”.
“Tabunka” (多文化) is a Japanese word for “multicultural”.
“Communications” encompass everything from spoken, unspoken, cultural, implied, and explicit.
The mission of “tacommu” brand is to support your tabunka communications.
It’s also a play on the word: tako/taco. Are we talking about a Japanese delicacy of octopus (tako) or a crowd-favorite Mexican dish (taco)?
… and that’s how the character Tacommu is born.
Description: an octopus-shaped porcelain figure, painted like a taco on the head (with a headset mic pointing towards the mouth) and painted red on the legs like an octopus. It’s set on a brown recliner with a black cat in the background, as if judging a prey.
